Sondra Elizabeth is an extraordinary 9 year old who lives in Seattle, WA.  What sets her apart from other children are her simple passions in life. 

  • She loves to bowl.
  • She is an addict (to books and poetry)
  • She sees the beauty in all things and will not hesitate to stop to smell the flowers, watch as a pretty bird flutters by, or run through a field to chase the butterflies.
  • She is a compassionate and caring individual that has made everyone that she meets "her friend" - regardless of age or "difference". 
  • She is a good friend.
  • She is respectful and honors her elders and all beings.
  • She is a great big sister (most of the time).
  • She has character, integrity and morals.
  • She has a goal, "to become a teacher."

  • She has vowed to never do drugs.

Life is Sondra's adventure.  And with help, this site is her way of sharing her adventures with others.  Thank you for stopping by.

Woods Lake is one of Sondra's Favorite places that she has visited on both of her adventures to Lake Tahoe.  Her first adventure ended in a slight mishap when she had fallen down an embankment while rock climbing at the far end of the lake.  The second visit wasn't nearly as traumatic, however she received numerous mosquito bites.  Woods Lake is in Eldorado National Forest.   It is a small lake situated in the mountains about an hour drive from Lake Tahoe in Kirkwood, California - just off Highway 88.
